How we select the horses that we think will lose their races
We're not going to go into detail about the selection process we use because you could then just use our selection criteria and we are out of a job!
In a nutshell there are key criteria a horse must meet in order to have a chance of losing a race. These could be a combination of any of the following:

:: The course and distance it is running are new to it.
:: A change up in class and it has not been proven at that level.
:: Jockey changes affect the way a horse runs.
:: A trainers ability on a particular course will be a big indicator.
:: The competition in the race being stronger or weaker than it was last time out.
:: When it last ran this distance or course. Is it in the same form now?
:: etc etc etc....

There will always be 2 criteria that every horse must meet to be a selection. If it does not meet these it is a no bet.

1. It WILL be the favorite in its race when we give the selection out.
2. It WILL be below odds of 3.00 on Betfair or Betdaq when you bet.

The selections are always below 3.00 (2/1) to ensure the staking plan has a chance to recover any lost revenues due to horses winning. This will be explained more in the staking plan section.
